I read in an issue about a year ago that Bryan White used to sing in a Christian band before he got into country music. What was the name of that band?
Actually, what you're probably recalling from our August 12, 1997, issue was that Bryan's now 22-year-old brother, Daniel, toured with a contemporary Christian band, Ninth Hour, as part of a youth ministry group. Bryan was never part of the group.
When will Bryan White's next album be out in stores?
I love his music and he's a great guy as well.
Bryan's writing new songs and recording his fourth Asylum release. He has converted the basement of his Nashville house into a sound studio where
he's working with his lead guitarist Derek George. Once they've completed
their songs, Bryan will finish the album with producer Byron Gallimore. Watch
for a release in late spring.
Did Bryan White have any pets growing up? Does he have any now? If so, how many, what kinds and their names, please.
Bryan's family always seemed to have a pet running around, but the most memorable was Woogie, a Tabby cat the singer taught to roll over for treats. Bryan tells us that he and his brother Daniel used to get in trouble for trying to wash Woogie -- in the dishwasher! Nowadays, Bryan is so busy touring and recording that he doesn't have time for a pet. If he had one, it would be a black Labrador retriever.
I was shocked to see Bryan White with glasses in your March 24 issue. When did he start wearing glasses?
Bryan's worn glasses or contact lenses for several years. Bryan's near-sighted, and his publicist says he needs help when driving and to see his adoring fans!
Bryan White is one of my favorite artists. What are his hobbies and favorite movie, and how tall is he?
The 5-ft.-9-in. star hasn't really had much time these days for his favorite pastimes; he and LeAnn Rimes are selling out shows all over the country on their Something To Talk About tour. But he enjoys fishing and going to movies when he gets the chance. A love story, Somewhere In Time, is his favorite movie. Could be because his favorite actress, Jane Seymour, stars along with Christopher Reeve in this 1980 flick. Bryan's publicist, Summer Harman, tells us that he had the opportunity to meet Jane recently and was "just thrilled."
Bryan White and Shania Twain are my favorite artists, and I love their song "From THis Moment On." Will they make a video?
Shania's album Come On Over has only been out a month, so it's really to early to say weather this song will be made into a video. Both stars have enjoyed great success with videos, so it wouldn't be surprising. However, the video of Shania's second single from the album, "Don't Be Stupid (You Know I Love You)," is already airing on CMT.
I love Bryan White's new song, "Love Is The Right Place," What is Bryan's favorite movie and TV show?
Somewhere In Time is Bryan's favorite movie. "It's just a great love story, a wonderful movie about undying love," he told COUNTRY WEEKLY. "Plus, my favorite actress is Jane Seymour. "As for,TV, I don't have much time to watch during prime time, since I'm usually on stage performing. However, a show I thought was hilarious and enjoyed watching as a kid was The Honeymooners. I think Jackie Gleason was fantastic in the show."
Word is Nashville's teen sensation, LeAnn Rimes, doesn't get along with Bryan white, her current tour partner (and one of my favorite country singers). True?
Just the opposite, say individual spokesmen for the pair, whose "Something To Talk About" tour is aptly titled. We're told Rimes, 15 and white, 24 (who just marked a year of dating Second Noah actress Erika page), are close friends who have fun together on the road. Though booked through the end of September, they'll take a break to greet supporters at Nashville's huge annual Fan Fair next week.

My best friend and I met Bryan White and are curious about what brand of cologne he wears. I say it's Aspen, and she thinks it's Wild Country. Do you know?
Bryan's Cologne id "cK one," a Calvin Klein brand.
I am a huge Bryan White fan.So, of course, I have have pictures of him hanging on my bedroom walls. i think he is gorgeous. but what color are his eyes? In every picture they look a different color -- brown, green or blue. (Not that it really maters. he always looks fine!)
Bryan's eye are hazel, which would explain why they look different depending on what photo he's in!
I am a big fan of Bryan White. When I bought The Best of Country Sings the Best of Disney, it said Bryan White appears courtesy of Asylum Records. In another CD, it said Bryan White appears courtesy of Elektra Records. Did he switch record labels?
Bryan is signed to Asylum Records, which is part of the Electra Entertainment Group.
I was watching TNN's Country Hunks Week, and I noticed that Bryan White's hair was noticeably darker. I thought it might be the lighting, but on the ACM awards show it was dark, too. Did he color his hair?
Wow, you are observant! His publicist confirms that he did darken his hair -- just a shade or two. And it surprised everyone, even the people working with him.
I recently heard that Bryan White has a younger brother. Is he into singing, how old is he, and is he as cute as Bryan?
For the past year, Bryan's younger brother Daniel, 20, has travelled with a Christian band, Ninth hour, to India, Singapore and Bangladesh, as part of a youth ministry group. He plays guitar, sax, drums and sings. Recently, Daniel returned to Oklahoma City to attend a vocational school for music engineering. And, yes -- like his big brother, daniel is good looking and single!

Bryan White and Mindy McCeady are both outstanding singers with great talent> I heard that the two of them are doing a duet together that will appear on Bryan's upcoming album. Is this true?
There has been talk about Bryan and Mindy cutting a duet, but according to their lables, nothing's definite at this time. However, those two certainly have a few things in common: they're both single, each working on new albums and they are friends. But they are not romantically involved as some rumors have suggested. Mindy is busy touring with George Strait and Alan Jackson, while Bryan is on the road with Vince Gill.
I noticed Bryan White lean over and kiss a girl when he received his award during the CMA Show. Is that his girlfriend? Is he serious with her or are they just friends?
As we reported in October, the girl the whole world saw Bryan kiss was Emily Bradley, his date for the night of the show. As for a special someone in his life, Bryan says he's just too busy these days for a steady gal, so he prefers to "play the field."
How many No. 1 singles has Bryan White had and what are they?
The 1996 CMA Horizon Award winner has reached the top spot on Billboard country charts three times: "Someone Else's Star" in 1995, and "Rebecca Lynn" and "So Much For Pretending" this year.
